What is HEALITE II?
HEALITE II delivers medical-grade LED light therapy directly to sore, injured or slow-healing tissue. It's used alongside hands-on treatment and rehabilitation, supporting your body's own healing and recovery processes rather than replacing manual therapy.
The treatment itself is gentle, non-invasive and comfortable, and it forms one part of an individual treatment plan while we address the underlying movement, loading and mechanical factors contributing to the problem.
What can HEALITE II help with?
It's commonly used to ease sore, stiff joints, settle pain and tissue irritation, and support recovery from muscle, tendon and ligament injuries. It also encourages circulation to the treated area and can assist healing following an acute injury.
For tissue that's initially too painful for manual treatment, it can help calm things down enough that hands-on work becomes more comfortable sooner.
Can HEALITE II help with scars?
Yes. It supports wound healing and healthy scar maturation following surgery or injury, and can help settle discomfort, redness and sensitivity around a healing scar.
Treatment may begin during the early stages of recovery, once medically appropriate, and can continue as the scar matures. HEALITE II doesn't physically break down scar tissue. Instead, it supports the cellular healing environment, which may make the area more comfortable for later hands-on treatment, mobility work and rehabilitation.
