Osteopathy for Active Adults
Whether you're training for a goal or just trying to keep playing the sport you love, we help you manage load, recover from injury, and stay moving well for longer.
Can osteopathy help with sports injuries?
Yes, muscle strains, ligament sprains, tendon pain and general overuse injuries are all things we regularly treat, usually alongside whatever training or rehab plan you're already following.
We also use shockwave therapy for stubborn tendon pain that hasn't settled with rest alone, such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles or shoulder tendinopathy, and tennis elbow.
How can osteopathy help prevent injuries?
Screening for load and movement issues before they become an injury is a big part of what we do: spotting the small niggles and imbalances that tend to turn into bigger problems if left unaddressed.
That comes with honest advice about training volume and recovery, not just treatment after something's already gone wrong.
Can osteopathy improve sports performance?
Keeping your body moving well and addressing restrictions can help you train and compete more comfortably. Performance depends on many factors beyond hands-on treatment alone (training, recovery, nutrition and more), so we see our role as removing what's holding your movement back, not a performance guarantee.
